VUT Online Application & Registration Fees for 2024
All prospective students who have been offered provisional admission or may be seeking admission to Vaal University of Technology (VUT) for the 2023/2024 academic year are hereby informed that the management of the institution has released the amount they will be required to pay for registration and application forms (if they are admitted).
VUT Application fees
Application fees should accompany all applications:
- Non refundable fee of R 100 (South African applicants)
- Non refundable fee of R 110 (International applicants)
- Non refundable fee of R 140 (Late Application Fee)
The only method of payment accepted for applications submitted by mail is via bank deposit. Please use your ID number as a reference. Make checks payable to Vaal University of Technology using a postal order or a bank guaranteed cheque.
You should not bring cash with you when you apply. Please communicate the correct amount of the fee with the admissions office by calling +27 (0)16 950 9356.
VUT Registration Fees
- Students who have been admitted to the first-year program can register. Students who are self-funded and receiving bursaries may begin registering. For students not funded by NSFAS, a minimum fee of R2200 is payable prior to registration.
- Registration will not begin until funding decisions have been made for all NSFAS-funded students.
- The Finance Department should be contacted with any questions regarding finance.
- The registration process can start 24 hours after payment has been made at any ABSA branch or ATM.
- The registration fee may not apply to NSFAS-funded and other sponsored students.
